Van Gogh

I visited the Yale Art Gallery, I was very impressed with the styles setting that the are was displayed. I found that the areas in the Yale art Gallery seemed to be an educational setting. The placements of art gave off a mood that seemed to me. I loved seeing the high ceilings with a back base of tan an brick . No much light entered in the Galley . I found that the open space of the galley made the are the eye cacther. I fact the large elevators made me question why would they have such large doors , then I realized that they must move big art in them. So I began to look for big art items .
I came apond the Vincent Van Gogh "Dutch" 1887. Voyer D' Arganson Park at Asinere. Van Gogh was a post impressionist painter. He however was appreciated for his work durin his life time . Born in 1853 , in the Nerthlands Vincent Van Go ugh began his caree in art by being a dealer. Vincent father a was a pastor, and he took an interest in Christianity. Vincent van Gogh himself was a preacher for a short while in Belgium.
It was not until the age of 27, that Vincent Van Gough had decided to become an artist , A self made artist , he had much finical and emotionsl suppepprot byu his younger brother Theo. Vincent Van Gough began t ,live with is brother in Paris and this eh when he was introduced to artist like Degas, Toulouse Lautrec,Pissarro and Guaguin. The influence of these artist mad Vinetn Van gough work change . The impressionism of lighter and brighter style became a part of his work.
Vincent Van Gogh began to show sighs of mental issues when he cut off his left ear after having a fight with a fellow artist Guauguin. After long periods of time in mental hospitals , his battle with depression and other serious mental illness came to an end when when he shot himself in the head and died two days later.

Vincent Van Gogh Corner in Voyer D' Arganson Park at Asinieres 1887. This oil canvas painting done in 1887 was done by Vincent Van Gogh. This painting served as a time line of culture reflection. This painting was not made for secular reason, I think the work contains some symbolism of peaceful times. As in all painting messages spent or relayed to people come from the artist as well as the person that ingest the painting. The message I took from this painting was stand back and see the true beauty of life's simple things . All you need is to look to see.

I see in this picture a peaceful time in life. What stands out most when first looking at he picture to me is the frame. I think You really have to look into the picture to see all the beauty. Van Gogh used oil paints in this picture . The way he painted this was not in a real defined way . It is like he meant to blur the picture a bit. I think it was because he wanted the viewers to look close into . Most of the height in this picture seemed to be placed in the back of the picture as if you where standing looking afar. The balance of this pictures to my surprise Van Gogh placed what seemed to be lighter thin looking objects t the left of the picture and heavy looking blocked items to the right . I wonder why?
This piece fell in the expression style . The oil painting with lots of color fits the 1887 style of painting era .
My personal Discovery is first the discovered that this painting is the work of a genius. At first I thought that what is so special about this painting . I mean at first glance I said I love the frame , then I looked inside the picture to discover that Van Gogh in each stroke had a pre thout reason to make such a painting . I think out of all the pictures This stood out for the non clarity . He used a lot of colors yet, they all mixed together . It was like he wanted this picture to be a memory or a dream. Everyday life was the best. He had meaning in the bricks that he lined down the corner . It was almost as if he wanted you to cross over to the next side. With the use of so many flowers on one side of the picture and just one lady on the other in some way thought that the the women beauty related to the beauty of the flowers. I know one thing this painting changes the way I will look at all other art work from this point
