The study of the head of the screaming Pope. Well I wanted to let everyone know that I'm Monica. I am a Criminal Justice Major . I visited the Yale Center for British Art and enjoyed every bit.I am a very quite person at home and seemed to fit in this quite environment of Art. I work with people who need behavior modification. Art is a very important part of their life . They seem to be able to express their feeling though art . I figured that I needed to understand what in Art better, Maybe I will understand them better also.

This painting is a oil, titled Grace Rose. In deed the Grace she up holds in this photo from pose and virtue shows though the shyness that she looks away from the painter. Though it looks though the surface of this painting so smooth as silk . Grace Rose is not from Japan , but she is experiencing the culture.

Reclining nude This oil painting took my interest because, of the comfortableness of a women with weight on her in the early 1900's to feel as though it was typical thing in life to do.

  1. Monica great Job! I really enjoyed your visit. Can you tell me how in blogger you positioned your photos? All of mine are going to the top of the page?

  2. Monica, I've asked students to write four papers from four separate museum visits that are about 750 words to 1000 words in length, and post two extended photo essays with captions on two other museum visits.

Take a look at the syllabus and read through the part regarding expectations for what should be included in the paper.

You should dig into greater depth on one particular artist. Give us some biographical information and place the artist and art historical context.

Spend more time describing what you see in the work.
